The Sonamarg (Z-Morh) tunnel, inaugurated in January 2025, was reported to give all-weather connectivity between Srinagar and Sonamarg. That report does not cover the road beyond Sonamarg towards Zoji La and Ladakh, and weather or advisories can still close the highway. Check current advisories before you set out.
