Who creates the content?
CostMyTrip Team maintains the calculators, route templates and planning data. Some content uses AI-assisted drafting. A generated page is not automatically a first-hand travel report, and we do not claim to have visited every route or inspected listed services.
How to read our labels
- Planning estimate: a model assumption or calculation, not a confirmed current price.
- Source checked: the identified source was consulted for the specific statement and date shown. It does not verify unrelated claims.
- Routing snapshot: a saved road-routing response, not live traffic or road-access information.
- Operator-supplied: terms or prices provided by an independent operator, separate from our calculator.
What the current review covers
The October 2026 quality pass checks route calculator defaults against the shared cost engine, repairs identified direction and transport-text errors, and adds worked budget scenarios to a selected set of guides. It does not externally verify every fare, toll, hotel, opening hour, attraction or route. Source dates are not advanced just because the layout changes.
Direct AdSense ad loading is currently paused across this release while consent messaging is configured. Guides remain available for planning; a pause in advertising is not an AdSense approval.
What we publish and what we leave out
We show the model’s inputs, exclusions and source status. We do not create customer reviews, booking availability, first-hand experiences or verification badges without evidence. Official links are provided for you to confirm current arrangements; a link alone is not a verified fare or connection.
Corrections
If something looks wrong, send the page URL, the figure or statement, and a dated source if available. We assess the evidence, correct the affected content and record material changes on our corrections page. We do not promise a completed investigation before it has happened.
